I’m Ulises Bentancor, a Uruguayan winemaker now rooted in California. My passion for wine began in my grandmother’s backyard, where she made wine in big blue buckets and hosted long, laughter-filled meals. That simple joy of sharing wine with loved ones stayed with me, from my early days in Uruguay to making wine across New Zealand, Oregon, and South America.

Now, through El Destino, I’m bringing that same spirit to you. Our wines are crafted from organic, sustainable vineyards with no chemical additions and minimal intervention, staying true to the land and the labor behind each bottle.
